Arkantos was the admiral of Atlantis and one of the greatest heroes in the game. He has a son, Kastor, and a wife who died during a pirate attack. He once killed an Anubite pirate named Theris. He first fights the Black Sail Pirates under the command of Kamos. But eventually he fights the Cyclops Gargarensis. He is rewarded for defeating Gargarensis by becoming a God. He eventually helps his son Kastor fight Kronos and his minion Kronny.
